CDC’s strong track record of performance in the key areas of project and programme delivery enables us to play a key role in supporting and facilitating the wider economic development delivery from the public and private sectors in Cornwall and the Greater South West region.

With more than 30 years’ experience in local government, Cath has recently moved from interim to the permanent role as Corserv’s managing director. She started her career as an apprentice but became chief finance officer in Cornwall Council, Cath is a qualified CIPFA accountant as well as holding an MBA from Warwick Business School. In her previous roles, Cath has managed core business functions such as human resources, organisational development, and commercial and legal services. She has also led operational services for the fire service, public protection, libraries, customer services and property. Most recently Cath was the chief operating officer for Cornwall Council and was instrumental in establishing Corserv and the new group company’s structure.

Mike graduated in 1980 with a BSc (Hons) in geology from the Royal School of Mines and spent over 20 years in the international oil and gas industry in exploration, production and management roles in London and Houston. In 2001, he joined the Welsh Development Agency as Executive Director with responsibility for securing foreign direct investment for Wales. Prior to taking up his current role in Cornwall in 2017, Mike spend 12 years as CEO of Jersey Government’s Economic Development Department with responsibility for economic development and the island’s sports and cultural infrastructure.

Phil worked as finance director within Cormac for the past two years and his new role recognises the significant contribution that he has made to Cormac in this time. Phil will now assume financial responsibility for the delivery of our annual and four-year business plans as well as leading the procurement and business reporting functions.

Dominic is responsible for managing the strategic, financial, safety and operational aspects of the business.He is a results driven Chartered Engineer and has more than 10 years’ experience as the Commercial Director at Cormac. He is responsible for cost, risk and value management for highways and civil engineering projects, developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies, and collaborating and negotiating with clients and supply chain to develop sustainable contractual arrangements.
