Health Works for Cornwall

Cornwall Development Company is recruiting for the exciting new Health Works for Cornwall employment support programme, which aims to support 5,500 workless individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with health-related barriers to gaining employment.

Part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF),with investment from Cornwall Council and using a supply chain of delivery partners, the project will deliver training and support based on Information Advice and Guidance principles to help remove these barriers and to progress individuals into work.

As the project lead, Cornwall Development Company is recruiting a contract management team to deliver a quality and compliant service that achieves the programme’s targets.

Contract Manager            

Starting £45,784

37 hours per week

Fixed-term to 31 December 2023

Based in Pool, Redruth

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to successfully manage the project in order to meet the contractual targets agreed with the Managing Authority for ESF (Department of Work and Pensions). 

The post-holder will:

  • Manage the overall project, which will include driving the performance of a supply chain of delivery partners and be responsible for the compliant delivery of support to the target beneficiaries.
  • Manage a team of staff to meet the contract targets and objectives agreed with the Managing Authority. 
  • Ensure quality, effective and efficient delivery of the contract by overseeing the achievement of targets and objectives and ensuring effective, accurate and up to date management information.

Compliance Manager            

Starting £31,800

37 hours per week

Fixed-term to 31 December 2023

Based in Pool, Redruth

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to successfully ensure that the processes and delivery of the project is compliant with the contractual obligations to both the Managing Authority and the European Social Fund.

The post-holder will:

  • Design and implement compliant systems and procedures that will form the basis of all aspects of delivery, ensuring that this is communicated and enforced with the project supply chain of delivery partners.
  • Draw up and implement an effective system of monitoring and internal audit checks on delivery partners’ delivery to ensure standards are met.
  • Develop and preserve good working relationships throughout the supply chain delivery partners, promoting an atmosphere and culture of common goals, confidentiality and trust.
